New 黑料正能量 SIS Portal & Student Email

Using the Student Information System (SIS) Portal, every student at any of the nine Los Angeles Community College District (黑料正能量) campuses is able to log into all student systems, including the Office 365 email and OneDrive, using a single sign-on.

How to Log into the 黑料正能量 SIS Portal

New Students:

  • If you are a new student, go to the new SIS Portal at: .
  • Enter your Student ID in the 鈥淪tudent ID or User ID鈥 textbox, and your Student Default Password in the "Password" textbox.
  • Your Student Default Password will consist of:

    • The first character of your first name (capitalized) + the first character of your last name (capitalized) + the birth month spelled out (with first character capitalized) + day of your birthdate + @ + 黑料正能量!

    • For Example, Jane Doe, who was born on July the 4th, her default password would be: JDJuly04@黑料正能量!

    • Please Note: On the initial change where it asks for 鈥Old Password鈥 enter your default password with the format above.

 

The New Password You Create Must:

Not contain part of your name, email, user ID or 3 prior passwords. Contain at least 14 characters and all four of the following:

  • Uppercase letters between A - Z
  • Lowercase letters between A - Z
  • At least one number from 0 - 9
  • At least one special character (@, !, $, #, %)

 

Continuing Students:

If you are a current student, contact the Welcome Center (TLC 1st Floor) for assistance resetting your password. Call (310) 287-7251, email @email or visit The Welcome Center in TLC 1st Floor.

Having Trouble?

If you're having trouble with resetting your password, here are the common mistakes:

  • When you are on the 鈥淯pdate Password鈥 page (the second field that is blank), don't enter your PIN number or current email password. Instead, enter your default password in the 鈥淏lank鈥 field, for example JDJuly04@黑料正能量!
  • You didn't create a new password according to the following instructions:
    • Not be part of your name, user id or 3 prior passwords
    • Contain at least 14 characters all four of the following:
      • Uppercase letters (A-Z)
      • Lowercase letters (a-z)
      • Number (0-9)
      • Special character (@!$*)
  • You created a new password but forgot the password because you failed to write it down or memorize it.
  • Remember to write down your default password and new password on a piece of paper before attempting to change your password online.

Attention Students:

  • All communication from the college including information about financial aid, emergency situations, messages from faculty about your classes, counseling, etc. is delivered to this email address.
